How to beMobile?

beMobile is a special version of bookeazy.com adapted for your mobile. If your on the move frequently, traveling or just hanging out, you can use beMobile to access movie schedules for all BookEazy partner multiplexes in Pune. If you have a BookEazy account, you can also book your movie tickets on beMobile.

A small reminder folks, beMobile is still in Beta. If you run into any defects or unusual behavior do get in touch with us so we can fix any issues immediately.

What mobile phone models work with beMobile? The basic requirement is to have a mobile phone that has support for wireless Internet (CDMA or GPRS/EDGE) and a mobile web browser. You will also require your wireless operator to enable wireless data for you.

Here is how beMobile will look on different handsets:

If you purchased a phone recently that cost your over Rs. 4500/-, you should have a phone with wireless data. beMobile can be used on the phones listed below (and others not listed here):

How do I access beMobile? Browse m.bookeazy.com right here to get a feel of what it should look like on your phone. Just add the link to your phone and you’re good to go.

Does BookEazy charge extra for beMobile? No, BookEazy does not charge any thing for checking movie schedules on beMobile. If you already have a BookEazy account, you can book tickets on BookEazy exactly how you would book over the web. However, wireless data charges are set by your wireless operator.

How is beMobile better than booking over SMS? Booking movie tickets over SMS can be an extremely frustrating experience. What with all the short-forms and messaging back and forth. Considering the number of premium SMSes you’ll need to get the same kind of experience, beMobile is also way cheaper and a hundred times more reliable way to book tickets.

    what if the person dosen’t have gprs don’t they get use of this scheme .
    This scheme is limited scope oriented for the people who can afford to buy dear mobiles.

    Hi Raunaq,

    Most mobiles on sale, worth Rs. 4500 or more, now support GPRS. All you have to do is enable GPRS on the phone with your operator. Let us know your phone model and operator and we can help you out.

    Thats great! Was looking fwd to this feature. However, it allowed booking only for today. The other day options were not present. At least, this was about a week back. Haven’t checked again.

    Hi Achyut.

    The mobile booking feature will allow you the same booking options that are available on the main BookEazy website.

    It is probable that the day you tried out the mobile booking feature, our partner theatres had not yet released the schedules of the following days for advance booking.

    I hope you give it a try again and get back to us with more feedback.

    great work guys. i tried it on nokia e61 using opera mini. works great. didn’t book a ticket as I live in Mumbai, but works smooth.

    I always get a system error when I am booking tickets for Inox through the mobile site. Bookings for esquare work just fine.

    For Today, 26th April 2008, Saturday.
    Your site (bookeazy site) shows that the “U me and Hum” is at 2:45PM at E-square.
    Whereas the e-square official site shows that the show for the same movie is at 1:45 PM.
    I wanted to book the ticket for this movie, but becaue of this descepency could not book the ticket.
    If I would not have seen the E-square official site I would have been in loss on money front, on mood front and also it would be a flop event for my family

    Dear Parag,

    E-square show for U Me Aur Hum was scheduled to play at 1:45pm today (26th April 2008, Saturday)
    However due to some technical issues the show was postponed to 2:45pm by E-square. E-square informed us about this change at 11:00am this morning and the same was reflected on our site instantly. All our customers who had booked for the show were also informed immediately.

    Schedules shown on the E-square site(http://www.e-squareindia.com/) are not updated on an hourly basis. These schedules may not match the live information similar to newspaper schedules. We display live schedules on our site so that customers can make movie plans and book tickets. We have integrated with the theatre systems and keep our schedules up to date.

    If you have any doubts about the schedules you can always call our support team or the theatre directly and confirm the same.

    i cannot download beMobile on my nokia n81 nor can i open the m.bookeasy.com link from my mobile browser. i have evn tried it from opera but i cant.
    isnt there any way in which i can download the application frm the pc and then install it in my phone?
    please help asap

    I booked couple of tickets for hankcock yesterday using beMobile. But I still havent received any confirmation SMS that I am required to show at the cinema hall.
    The movie is scheduled at 9.00am today at City Pride Kothrud.
    Dont you think it’s inconvenient to print the confirmation emails. I mean, I cant go on printing confirmation emails everytime i book a ticket. I registered for this service (not to mention paying hefty deposits and service charges) because of this convenience of just showing the confirmation SMS to get the tickets.
    Now dont you think this email-printing thing defeats the basic purpose??

    Let me know what I should do now if the multiplex authorities deny me the tickets as I dont have the printing and neither the confirmation SMS.

    We appreciate your feedback regarding the EazyCode and the concern about communicating the same successfully to our customers. In our endevour to provide an efficient service we are constantly exploring new avenues of service. Be-Mobile was one such application and it works the same way as the online version with the added advantage that it can be accessed on the move through a GPRS enabled mobile.

    Once you book your tickets using bookeazy, the confirmation code for the same is communicated through multiple channels to ensure that the code reaches you in case of failure of any one of the channels due to external factors like network congestion or even failure to connect to the internet from your end. The various modes to deliver the code to you are as follows:
    1. Displaying the code on the screen on successful completion of booking.
    2. Making the code available in the booking history of your BookEazy account.
    3. Eazycode dispatch by a separate e-mail for every successful booking.
    4. Eazycode dispatch by an SMS to the mobile number registered with BookEazy.

    We make every effort to provide an efficient and reliable service. However, issues related to SMS delivery are subject external factors such as Network congestion and delays for delivery of SMS, which are beyond the control of BookEazy. In the case,when SMS delivery to a customer has failed and we are informed about the same, we immediately resend the SMS. We value every one of our customers and you can always contact our support team for any query or concern you have.

    Printing of the code has been suggested to ensure the authenticity of the person collecting the tickets. However, it is not a necessity and the tickets are issued on simply mentioning the code also. In the event of any conflict arising due to the Eazycode, you can contact us on the support number or ask the Box office to contact us for the same.

    We hope to continue to serve you and meet your expectations of a good service.
