Rock On!!
In the industry which churns more than 100 films a year, there are a few who dare to experiment with their work. Never afraid to try out something unconventional, Farhan Akhtar has been one of them.
Coming through successfully with his maiden directorial venture Dil Chahta Hai, that set the path for many movies with an urban mindset he makes his debut as an actor and singer in the forthcoming film ‘Rock On!!’.
With 2008 having some great humming numbers, this album promises to be the stunner. Farhan Akhtar has sung 6 out of the 9 songs. Now that’s an achievement for any Bollywood actor (Himesh not included). Rock on also sees the big screen debut of Prachi Desai, besides Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Luke Kenny playing other members of the band.
The story takes the audience through the formation of the band, to the split and the reunion ten years later. The moments explore the lives of these band members. The looks sported by the four are from the late 70s.
The music has rocked, hope the movie does too.

m looking forward for this film and m hoping farhan akhtar has done a best job….. i loved his work so far as an director and he is my all time favourite just waiting for the release

Rock On is an aawesome movie…………on the same lines of Dil Chahta hain…….but yeah! not as good as DCH …..but its certainly a very different experience if u can relate yourself 2 d characters in the movie reliving d moments from ur life…its jst magical!!!……. every performance was up to the mark…specially Farhan s……….n Arjun gave his best performance till date..he got into the skin of his character.. even the songs were great…a must watch movie….simply loved it!!!!!

Hey Movie lovers -
I can bet on my breath … you gonna find this movie simply WOW .. I concur the fact that it’s been on similar lines as that of DCH … all about friends .. their potential tiff & re-union after considerable span of time .. but here is something new in the soul .. All credit goes to Farhan & Arjun … they put all life into the script .. no second thoughts about their hard work .. Farhan sings great & Arjun leant lessons of guitar with full of heart .. I liked it very much .. coming out of hall.. I felt .. am refreshed …
P.S: Not so sure about the revenu collection or publicity of movie but guitar tutors are gonna busy for coming while ..hehhe .. youth has started enjoying the vibe I guess …
