Whoever heard of the hero of the movie being a Sardarji and whoever did make it possible made a decent job out of it. Everyone has made jokes about Sardars in their movie, but this movie tries to bring out the humorous side in the right sense.
Lucky Singh, Happy Singh you will find them all here. The movie starts off on a typical underworld note portraying the reign of the King Sardar aka Lucky Singh in the Aussie Underworld. It comes back very soon to his native village as is the custom in Bollywood. And then starts the story of the Happy Surd- Happy Singh. The plan to send him out of the village, Happy reaching Egypt instead of Australia and the story continues. No prizes for guessing the movie ends on a good note and Happy living happily ever after with the heroine and the entire village.
Some good things about the movie:
1. Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif : Both look good and their on-screen chemistry continues from where they left off in Welcome.
2. Action sequences: All the action has been carried well and looks good.
3. Javed Jaffrey: He continues to entertain the audience with his trademark sense of humour.
Some ‘not so very good’ things in the movie:
1. Ranvir Shorey: Has been wasted in a role, makes no impact or has no scope for it. Anyone would have sufficed there.
2. The movie has shades of Welcome. With it again being a comedy and involving the underworld Dons & Akshay Kumar trying his best to transform them to good beings.
Singh is Kinng Trivia:
1. Rapper Snoop Dogg was pulled in to shoot a special video for Singh Is Kinng and Akshay managed to convince him to dress up like a Surd, complete with Pagh, etc. And when they went shopping for their respective costumes, Akshay even paid for his own costume a whooping 10 Lakh Rupees, while Vipul Shah had to foot the remaining 10 Lakhs for Snoop Dogg’s share.
2. This is one film where the title was penned first and then the production. Akshay Kumar saw the name behind a truck in Jaipur and called Vipul Shah to ask him to go ahead and make the movie.
All facts apart, Singh is Kinng is enjoyable and a family entertainer. Go and Watch it.

Sometimes you wonder while watching a movie that ‘Am I making Complete Fool of myself or what?’. Sometimes you wonder ‘What the hell is going around me?’.Sometimes you even wonder like ‘ Do I really deserve this?’
But as “Singh is King’ progresses you get the mixed reactions of all above.
The movie hardly cares about audience.
It seems like movie maker fell asleep by himself while making this movie.
This is so called comedy movie, where people are actually supposed to laugh at so called jokes. But as movie go along you neither feel like laughing nor crying. You realize that you have made complete fool of yourself and fell for the Big Promotions made by filmmakers.
I am not going to say much about the plot of the movie as it is not there. I just want to say that if you can keep your brains at
home, Please do so and go for the movie. Cause you don’t want your brain to feel the same you gonna feel while watching a movie.
This Movie is totally made in Marketing Frame Of Mind..That’s it…

I think leave your ‘brains at home’ is the most abused phrase for describing movies that people have not enjoyed for whatever reasons. I would be glad to know why someone would want to use their brains while watching a movie? Isnt it too obvious that you are just out for plain entertainment!
But yes Singh Is Kinng barely can be called even a decent movie at the very least its just another timepass movie.
