Tashan is an out-and-out comedy. The action makes you laugh, the romance makes you laugh louder, and it is so funny that the characters make you laugh even when they are seething with anger. And the beauty is I haven’t been able to figure out whether any of this was intentional!

Tashan is yet another Yashraj movie with a wafer thin and nonsensical storyline. A few stupid twists and turns make the characters look like fools! … Akshay Kumar is the only saving grace of Tashan.

Welcome to debutant director Vijay Krishna Acharya’s land of the English-challenged fashionably quirky, where Tashan is your passport to every conceivable absurdity and You-got-to-be-kidding brand of illogical twists step on your toes at every opportunity .. Like, who expects meaningful cinema from a movie which parades its leading actors in outrageous blonde wigs, flashy attires; and on top of it, makes them do a power-packed jig, in the middle of nowhere, along with hundred other ocolourful extras?

The experience with TASHAN is like, you enter a posh restaurant, waiting for a sumptuous meal to be served, but what’s served on your plate is vada-pau. TASHAN takes you back to the 1970s Bollywood, when illogical situations, blood and gore, for no rhyme of reason, were the main ingredients that made the junta break into taalis. Sorry, the formula doesn’t work anymore!

Very apt and intelligent written review. I often do blogsearch on Google to read movie reviews, and I am yet to come across a review that is so nicely structured, and every word written was true to the Letter T. Tashan is a sheer waste of time, for everybody, including the starcast

kitchy and wishy-washy…
TASHAN is Terrible Acting Shabby Horrible Action Non-sense… thats what the name of the movie stands for…
the only saving grace is Akki’s performance as the adorable Bachchan Pande…and well…kareena in the bikini…for 10 seconds…
The action is staright out of Sivaji-The Boss…which implies just one fact - over the top!so much for a movie which tried to be proud of being what it is….
