Kiosk Design Lead

BookEazy Technologies, Pune is looking for experienced Kiosk Design Engineers. The successful candidate will have direct experience with and in-depth knowledge of the area of kiosk hardware and application design and usability. The responsibilities include designing and managing the assembly of the next generation of retail store application kiosks that provide multiple levels of service through an interactive, user-friendly interface. He or she will also be responsible for the design and development of a remote kiosk monitoring and trouble-shooting system.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years direct experience in the areas of kiosk hardware and software design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a closely related area (B.E., B.Tech., M.E., M.S., M.Tech.).
• Knowledge of latest technologies and advancements in the area.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and selecting kiosk hardware and software components.
• Knowledge of usability, reliability, scale and security.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity.

General Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for planning and executing kiosk design, development and deployment program.
• Work with BookEazy’s retail partners to deploy kiosks and gather and implement program feedback.
• Lead a kiosk engineering team and technical trouble-shooting team.
• Assist in locating and evaluating kiosk component suppliers.
• Minimize intervention through accurate understanding and communication of BookEazy’s mission, business and technology goals.
• Some travel is required.
