Vivek Agnihotri ’s Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal is inspired from the real story of a coach who lost 8 players of his football club in a plane crash. Shattered by the incident, the coach decides to fight destiny and recreates a superb team which goes on to win several tournaments across Europe.

Starring John Abraham, Bipasha Basu, Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, Goal is the story of hope, optimism and the ‘can do’ spirit. The story about a team, without a coach and no chances of winning, will teach us how to achieve what is generally thought to be impossible. Set in the backdrop a field, this movie promises to bring back the Chak De! magic on screen once again.
Goal is doubly special for John as he gets to flaunt his love for Bipasha as well as for the game :). Arshad Warsi on the other hand, will be hoping to break the ‘Munna-Circuit’ image and get noticed for more than just comedy. But personally I think I would go to watch Boman Irani who plays the coach of this team.
So all those disappointed with OSO and Saawariya, do not lose hope - there is still loads of good cinema lined up for you this November.

With the Indian National Cricket Team Skipper having led the Indian Team to a T20 world cup win, Lets see if his off field buddy(and hairstyle brother) is able to follow suite with the football team albeit on screen. Hope John is able to carry the weight of the movie on his shoulders(now that he does’nt have the long mane weighing down). Bips and John should definitely light up the screen, so would Boman and Arshad try to recreate the magic that makes munnabhai movies a hit, even though this time it will be intensity and inspiration and not comedy(also munna bhai wud be missing out this time) that they’ll have to rely on. In all we surely hope to have a winning football team, which cud inspire the national football team. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOLKS, MAN U and ARSENAL can take a back seat, JOHNNY AND CO. will be amongst the goals this time.
